1.1 We are a social network and online platform for beauty professionals and their clients.
1.3 We protect your personal information and will only provide it to third parties: (1) with your consent; (2) where it is necessary to carry out your instructions; (3) as reasonably necessary in order to provide our features and functionality to you; (4) when we reasonably believe it is required by law, subpoena or other legal process; or (5) as necessary to enforce our User Agreement or protect the rights, property, or safety of EVVEMI, our Members and Visitors, and the public. We have implemented appropriate security safeguards designed to protect your information in accordance with industry standards.
1.5 EVVEMI uses the personal information we collect from you to provide our service to you. We will not rent, sell or share your personal information with any other company for its own marketing purposes without your consent except where mentioned in this policy.
1.6 This policy is designed to ensure that we safely handle your personal data in accordance with relevant regulations and legislation such as Data Protection Act 1998 and EU General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (referred to in this document as the “Act”).
1.7 Data protection law differentiates between the “controller” and “processor” of information. Unless otherwise stated, EVVEMI will be considered to be the data controller and processor of your information according to the whether it is simply processing or controlling the use of the information.
What personal information do we collect?

2.2 We may also ask you to complete surveys and give feedback that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

Any access request is free of charge for your first request, further repetitive requests may be subject to a fee of $15 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
Retaining and deleting personal data
11.1 Personal data that we process for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose. This means that unless there is a good reason to do so we won't keep your personal data more than 6 years after our business relationship has ended.
11.2 It is not possible for us to specify in advance the periods for which your personal data will be retained. However, we will determine the period of retention based on your continued use of our website or services and based on our requirements for proper record keeping and accounting and legal purposes.
